From skip to hip - a pair of William Morris Armchairs

Ta-da! Total tranformation of these 2 broken chairs rescued from a skip. This customer has had a dream to have some chairs covered in this William Morris Strawberry Thief fabric in crimson/slate. The trouble is, it's £62 per metre. Gulp. So I got creative with the budget and found a complementary plain fabric which brings out the blue in the pattern. I trimmed the box cushions with piping made from the remnants of the Morris & Co fabric to bring it all together.
